The Russian “Tank biathlon” international contest began at the Alabino range (Moscow Region). Teams of Russia, Kazakhstan, Serbia and India are participating in the first race. The Tank Biathlon World Championship consists of tests of driving, racing and shooting with various vehicles. It features 39 crews from 13 countries.

The Elbit Systems/ST Kinetics Sentinel II and the General Dynamics Land Systems/Thales Australia LAV 6.0 have not been selected for the evaluation phase.
