Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal emphasized the ongoing support for the Ukrainian military in its resistance against the Russian invader, stating that tax revenues to the state budget will be dedicated to amplifying the nation's defense capabilities.

Economy Minister Yuliya Svyridenko elaborated that the funding for these attack drones would be sourced from the state budget's reserve fund. She highlighted that contracts worth approximately 30 billion hryvnias with UAV producers have been finalized, with additional agreements worth 14 billion hryvnias currently in preparation.

Svyridenko reassured that the government intends to maintain both routine and emergency financial support for drone procurement initiatives. Previously, Ukraine allocated around 40 billion hryvnias for the purchase of indigenous unmanned aerial vehicles, encompassing not just aerial drones but also terrestrial platforms.

Furthermore, Ukraine's defense industry is engaged in the development and mass production of offensive drones across various classes and functionalities. In a related development, the Defense Ministry's "Defense Procurement Agency" announced a tender in March via the Prozorro system for acquiring 20,000 DJI Mavic 3 quadcopters, available in two models.
