The Germany Company IABG has developed the GSD LuWa Light Air-transportable Armored Fighting Vehicle, a new generation of light tracked armored vehicle specially designed for airborne troops. The goal of this project is to provide a new combat vehicle that could replace the Wiesel tracked airborne armored vehicles in service with the German army.
The French army conducts trial tests with the new Serval 4x4 armored vehicles in winter conditions. The first batch of Serval armored vehicles was delivered to the French army in May 2022.

Boeing engineers successfully demonstrated the company’s Protected Tactical Enterprise Service (PTES) over an on-orbit operational satellite, validating the design for the U.S. Space Force’s ground-based anti-jamming satellite communications (SATCOM) capability. The demonstration was the first time the PTES program integrated all of the end-to-end capabilities and tested them over the air using a commercial satellite.

The European Defence Agency (EDA) has successfully closed the first phase of two projects focused on harnessing the potential of lithium-ion technology and electrified powertrains in military platforms. The results of the two projects, ELUVAT and LITBAT I, sought to put alternative power sources to the unique tests demanded by operational requirements. They have respectively shown the feasibility of an advanced electrified powertrain to meet military demands and sought to broaden the use of lithium-ion battery systems in defence applications with a set of requirements for their use in a military setting and in future procurements.
For the second time, North Korea presents its latest generation of Main Battle Tank (MBT) during a military parade that was held on February 9, 2023. The tank was unveiled for the first time to the public in October 2020 at the military parade marking the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the WPK (Worker's Party of Korea).
During the latest military parade held on January 26, 2023, to commemorate the Republic Day of India, a new anti-tank armored vehicle called NAMIS or NAMICA (NAG Missile System) was showcased. On January 13, 2023, Swedish company BAE Systems Hägglunds Örnsköldsvik published a video showing the firepower and mobility of its CV90120 light tank. In the CV90 family, BAE Systems has developed a concept of a light tank version that is armed with a 120 mm high-pressure low-recoil smoothbore gun offering firepower and mobility of a Main Battle Tank (MBT) but with a combat weight of fewer than 40 tons.
