Representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic, the Swedish government armaments agency FMV and the Swedish IFV/BVP manufacturer BAE Systems signed a joint memorandum of understanding on December 21. The document confirms the agreement of all three parties on the basic parameters regarding the acquisition of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.

Saab has received orders from the Latvian Ministry of Defence for ammunition for the Carl-Gusta ant-tank weapon. These Defenture GRF vehicles (dubbed the ‘Vector’ at the Ministry of Defense) will be supplied to the Airborne Mobile Brigade (11 LMB). This contract also opens possibilities for the ministry to acquire additional vehicles over a longer period in the future.

On December 15, 2022, the German Ministry of Defense (MoD) published an updated list of military equipment supplied to Ukraine, Germany delivered 12 Bergepanzer 2 ARV (Armored Recovery Vehicle) based on the tracked chassis of the Leopard 1 MBT (Main Battle Tank) as well as 60,000 rounds of 155mm ammunition, 34 ambulances, and 18 8x8 load-handling trucks.
